The Eric Wayne Band first embarked on their musical voyage of discovery together as a cohesive Band in 2019, but their origin goes back earlier to when the band members, front man Eric Wayne and Lead Guitarist Derek Kelly began performing as an acoustic duo around Va. Later, bringing in Low end Specialist Frank Hatfield on Bass guitar and Pocket King and beat maker Shavante Hughes on Percussion, to complete this Southern Rock quartet. The Eric Wayne Band have collectively found their signature southern sound through their own trades, and offer something different and unique to their fans by creating and sharing original music they are proud to call their own. They have had the opportunity to share the stage with National Headlining artists Colt Ford and Chris Janson. They have performed in states that include SC, VA, and NC, from smoke filled bars to music venues of their fans choice!
